sugar?

might sound like a dumb question, but how much sugar is, lets say acceptable to take in daily??

Sugar is toxic, so "they" say.. But its in almost everything so im just trying to figure out how much i take in and WHAT i should only be getting....... I read 15grams is about the limit for a daily basis, any thoughts????

no added sugar or anything that is fortified with sugar or empty calorie sugar like sweets or sugar cereal

But its more complicated , what kind of sugar and/or glycemic index also most important

fast sweets vs. slow sweets , lower the glycemic index the better
 
p.s.

i avoid excess sugar at all costs, same with sodium

best to have majority of sugar intake in am

except right after work out some fast sweets/carbs or if im more than 3 hours in between meals allow myself a fast sweet on occasion
