suspending in oil

i remember i read pullinbig suggested you could use olive oil to suspend your oral powders.

anyone actually tried suspending in oil? how do you find the accuracy?

does it really matter what you suspend your powders in if you have to shake it before each use?

i can imagine water would be weak and not suspend too long...but can you guys fill this noob in? capping is just too time consuming for me.
