Synthetic Sugars?

Winter

PR Hungry
I have a question about synthetic sugars such as equal, sweet n low, splenda, etc. I was looking on the back of some of the sugar packets and the ingredients had dextrose, maltodextrin, and some other ingredient.

Now, they say that foods/drinks are "sugar-free," but are they really? I mean, dextros and maltodextrin are both sugars, am I right? This would mean that they are being stored in fat cells if they aren't burned off, right?

So what I'm trying to ask is, does the body store these artificial sugars into fat cells or use them to fuel your body like regular sugars?

if your in calorie excess then yes, they will go to fat.
if your in calorie defficet then no, they will not go to fat stores.
