Androgens do suppress TBG, which will yield a lower T3 and T4 reading if you had a bloodtest. Just like shbg binds to sex hormones TBG binds to T4 and T3. But ive never seen a study show that it also lead to a lower "free" T4 or T3. So basically what Im saying is even though you have lower T3 and 4, you have lower amounts of binding globulin and thus your free T4 and T3 remain in the normal range. Ill dig up a study if I got time later.
