T3 while on a cycle

Is it necessary to be on AS while using T3? I am going to try T3 and I have heard that you need to be on to preserve muscle mass. Just want to know if I should get some more gear to run the T3.
 
In my opinion, yes. You might be ok on a smallish dose of T3 without gear, say 25 mcg. per day. But I wouldn't do it.
 
I agree stay small, like 25mcg's, you may gain a little more because the increased metabolism making protein synthesis better. Don't take too much or it will counter it though.
 
I would never even think of running T3 unless I was on. I'f your not going to be on, run clen instead.
 
ranger, do a search on here for people running T3 without gear.

There are plenty of people that run 25mcg/day or even 50mcg/day while not on anything and don't report excessive muscle loss. Personally I wouldn't go over 25mcg/day though.

Of course taking it with clen and/or a steroid (especially oxandrolone) would be better...

Also T3 is anabolic/catabolic depending on dosage. Small dosages actually improve insulin's action and protein metabolism, which is why many people take 12.5mcg/day while on bulking cycles and/or with insulin.
 
i like the sound of this. good dicussion. i will be doing 12.5 soon while bulking, so i will post results. anyone have any in the mean time
 
If your protein intake is sufficient, you could use 25 mcg ED, probably even 50 mcg and maintain neutral (maybe even positive) nitrogen balance...

hhajdo is correct as usual , you can better your odds of maintaining mass by keeping protein up , dont go super low on calories and eat several small meals a day , dont overtrain , and it wouldnt hurt to keep stress to a minimum and add extra vit c to your diet in an attempt to keep cortisol levels down
