TB500 Linked to Cancer???

Tb500 increases cancer risk by increasing chance of metastasis (spread) of existing tumor/cancer cells. If you'd like me to go more in depth I'd be happy to sit down and pull up some articles for you later tonight. Unfortunately I have an exam this evening and all I'm doing is procrastinating on 'ology. :)

Ps. I'm currently taking a low dose of tb500 and I knew of this in the back of my head but you got me worried again. Check my thread in the peptide section I try to keep it updated and I'll be doing my best attempt at a Austin/halfwit level writeup at the conclusion.

Lol I'm worried too I'm on my 7th week of tb500 started at about 5mg wk first couple weeks then to 2.5mg wk. was having pretty bad shoulder and bicep issues and just yesterday I had the best chest day I've ever had I saw a major improvement yesterday at first it would hurt doing dumbbell chest presses and yesterday I hit a couple new PRs and then I learn about those articles.

So you're saying it can increase cancer risk on existing tumor/cancer cells which means it's just like hgh then? I couldn't tell if they were saying tb500 was at risk to CAUSE cancer but if you're saying it only effects existing cancer cells that makes me feel a little better. I had one more week to go but I don't know I'm kinda thinking to just stop it especially since I seem to be almost fully healed except for the occasional twinges.

Weird, I read this completely differently. Tumor SUPPRESSIVE effects. The REDUCED expression (i.e. less of it) results in poor prognosis, etc.
Seems to me the second link is saying the opposite of above.

That's what I got from skimming through your article and what I remember reading before starting. I'll give it some more research tonight and post my findings here. PM me if you'd like

Edit. Sorry what I meant to say was that was what I remember previously reading. Your study seems to say that tb500 slows down metastasis and existing tumor cell growth.

Ok, I hope we can get some more feedback to confirm. The first article says this, "He says there are concerns the drug, which stimulates cell growth and can activate "dormant" cells, may cause a range of cancers, including melanoma, and pancreatic, colon and breast cancer." but, the first article is from the media so they are going to put a spin on it, I think the second link, an actual study would be more credible.

It is merely a marker. It is speculated that it is a result of the cancer, not the cause of it as it slows the proliferation of cancer cells. You have to be careful and read ALL the available info on a substance. You can find many more studies that indicate it slows the spread and growth of cancer cells in addition to having preventative benefits. I'll dig up some data documenting its positive effects in this area and post it here tomorrow. Interesting topic but needs to be kept in perspective. Ill tell you this - it freaking works..did wonders for my shoulder.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it worked well for me too, was just a bit alarmed when this info was brought to my attention.

honestly in the end we will probably not know if it really spreads it or not for a long time. I did a fair amount of research on it. And some sources said it could spread it and some said it could suppress it. Lol I would use it as a last resort before surgery.

I hear what your saying about skimming the article. I managed to pick this section out that explaines what they are talking about.

In solid tumors, T***946;4 expression is frequently upregulated in malignant and metastatic cells. In these cancers, higher T***946;4 expression resulted in increased metastatic and invasive capacities of tumor cells, while proliferation remained unaffected.6 In hematologic disorders, malignant plasma cell disorders, such as plasma cell leukemia and MM were the rare disorders that showed a decreased T***946;4 expression.

:) thanks.

Everything causes cancers. You guys didn't know? Beware of vitamin C! :p

hey man... thank you and advice

trying to recover from a seriously sprained foot. 5 weeks out from injury and still cant even jog. x-rays were negative. have been doing PT. Where do you recommend I buy TB 500 or should I go with HGH? I want to come back stronger than ever, and would like to gain some athletic performance as well. Thank you for your time and help.
