Tentative First Cycle (Would Like An Opinion)

Okay, just reconstituted and injected 250 iu of HCG with an insulin needle. I have a question, can I just leave the Mixed HCG in the vial I injected the bacteriostatic water into? or do I have to pull it out and insert it into an empty sterile vial? I do have 5 empty sterile vials but I just wasn't sure if it is absolutely necessary to store it in them or if i can just leave the reconstituted hcg in the vial it came in with the newly added bacteriostatic water.

You can leave it but standard is mixing 5ml water into 5k to make it easier to read and draw, not many peptide vials can hold that much water.
Most likely you'll create an over pressure in the vial, could potentially leak.

Thank you for the prompt response. Hey, i used am insulin syringe and I have a bruise about the size of a quarter. There is no lump, just looks like a regular purple bruise. do you think intramuscular would be better to avoid this? My test injection was fine, still sore but manageable. Thanks again.

I get those maybe 1 in 100 injections far as sub-q injections at least.
Haven't really figured out why but my guess would be dulling the needle and hitting some blood vessels or similar.

Yeh, IM would work better.

I figured it out man, I totally dulled the needle last time when I drew. This time I poked the rubber stopper a few times in the same spot until the needle went in smooth. Then I used a fresh syringe and injected. Went in super smooth.

Here is an open question. I am consuming 2900 calories, 40/40/20 split Its a mix of healthy carbs, lean chicken, whole eggs, lean dairy, veggie juice (carrots and spinach) and 4 protein shakes a day 27g a piece. I am doing 35 minutes of fast paced uphill walking 4 times a week, I also run 2 miles another day and have 1 real rest day with no working out. The lifting routine is the one in the link ill post. https://muscleandperformance.com/training-performance/musclemags-9week-muscleup-plan-10011

Its an old routine from flex magazine that gave me good results in college. Ultimate question is , Do i need to eat more? I calculated my TDEE at around 2609 or so. I started out at 3300 calories with weight gainer and I gained like a pound and a half in 3 days. I felt bloated and fat. Also, my body fat at 17% is high I guess so I figured my body could consume some of that if I stay at 2900 cals. I m open to eating more, let me know what you guys think.

If you are eating those protein shakes on an empty stomach you might be absorbing less than 20% because it passes through your small intestine too fast for your body to absorb the protein. If you want to boost your calories and protein intake look to more real foods first.

I might have misunderstood him but pretty sure 3J told me whey protein is absorbed in the stomach and not the intestine, so you absorb 100%.

Hi tankmanbob, thank you for your post. I am not consuming them on an empty stomach. I used to but not anymore. I eat a bowl of cottage cheese mixed with yogurt and trail mix followed by my carrot/spinach juice. I then have my first shake after 40 minutes or so. An hour after that I eat my eggs. I'm not necessarily trying to eat more. Just wondered if I'd still see good results with 2900 calories a day and the current gym routine I have. I am open to eating more if need be though. Just thought a slight amount of calories over my tdee would suffice for recomposition due to my high body fat. But I may be mistaken.

Guys, after re-reading 3j's sticky, I think I will simply bump up my calories to 500 over tdee starting next week. I understand that this is trial and error and will modify as time goes by. I also understand I'll have to add even more calories around week 4 or so (when the test kicks in I guess). Ultimately, yes guys, you were right, dial in the diet before the cycle. I wouldn't be playing these educated guessing games right now. Thanks again. Off to lift.

Got another question. Anyone use cialis while on cycle? I read it can be beneficial in small doses of 5mg just for vascularity. Obviously it's for sex, but I mean, doesn't anyone recommend it in a small dose before a workout?

Improves circulation and seems to give a better pump

You should say that to 3J and his clients (i'm not a client anymore)
Because its his words and not mine.

Personally I dont care, i dont drink that many shakes anyhow :p

It was a snarky response, but what I meant is you clearly misunderstood him. Google "can stomach absorb protein" and you'll get this:

Pepsin is the active protein-digesting enzyme of the stomach. Pepsin acts on protein molecules by breaking the peptide bonds that hold the molecules together. Digestion of protein is completed in the small intestine by the pancreatic enzymes trypsin, chymotrypsin, and carboxypeptidase.

I know that's high level detective shit, took me 5 seconds to do that. Protein is absorbed in the small intestines, sugars like glucose can be absorbed in the stomach. Perhaps that's what he said.

OP, eat some real food. Ditch the protein shakes unless you have them with solid food, in which case why bother, just eat meat. Don't get me wrong, I love protein shakes. I eat no sugar so they taste like candy or a milkshake to me even with stevia, but for real nutrition they aren't nearly as good as real food. And if you are eating four of them per day there's a good chance you are deluding yourself on calories and protein counts.

For sure tankmanbob, I'll cut down the shakes to two and replace them with chicken breasts. Man this food consumption adds up, gonna have to ditch Safeway and get to Walmart. Thank you for your advice.

Good to hear, if not chicken breast they try turkey, or beef, or pork or fish.
