Ok, I've been having ED problems for about 5 weeks now. My appt. wasn't scheduled until Feb. 29 but I got in last Wednesday. I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in March 2011 at 200mg test e/week in March. In July I moved to 300mg/week and in Sept. I moved to 400mg or 1cc/week. My test level started at 192. By July it was 446. By Dec. '11 I was at 712. No Aromatase inhibitor (AI) prescribed and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) dosed at 1500mg/wk. for 2 weeks only every 10-12 weeks. When I went in last week my doc said that he'd had 10-12 patients complaining of same symptoms and thinks we got ahold of some bad test e. He changes me to test cyp(same dose) and I request an estrogen test and he also does a test level check. Estradiol comes back at 59 and it has never been tested before. This is one week after a test shot and 500/mg Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) injection(yes, I modify his prescription). Test level comes back at 5481. I speak with his nurse and she says he's never seen a test level this high and she suggests that I may be taking more than prescribed but I assured her I haven't. Anyway, he tells me to stop all injections for 2 weeks and come back in for another test level check and estrogen test. I know there's no way my test level is this high. I go back in for a retest on Feb. 15. Thoughts? He suggested that my high test level is causing the spike in estrogen. I think I'm going to continue my weekly test and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) injections. I'm going to request arimidex on the 15th because he'll prescribe it. His dosage suggestion is .5mg twice a day. How could a blood test be this far off??

When was the test done in relation to your last test c shot? I didn't read your whole post tw giant paragraph gave me a headache.

Before your blood test how much test were you taking and for how long ? How often, e7d ?? Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) how much, how often?
I think your running a risk of being dropped as a patient. You increased your dose from 100 to 400 on your own. Dr isn't stupid he's gonna know forsure that your increasing your dose with the next test considering he asked you to stop taking everything for the next 2weeks do he could test your blood again. If it's high again your screwed.

I bet you loose your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if the levels don't come down.

Not on a cycle. Doc started me at 200mg/wk. of test e in March 2011 and upped me to 300mg/week in July. Level only jumped to 686 so he upped me to 400mg/week in Sept(which is as high as he'll go). I didn't do anything on my own. Some of you guys don't read very closely! Dec. 14 test level was 712. Test reading of 5481 was one week after last shot of test e. Started being tired, having ED around the 1st of the year '12.

What was E2 on your bloodwork?
Getting a retest next Wed. I modify his dosage of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), not test. My pharmacy will only give me a 5cc bottle of test per month anyway. I agree cashout, how could I go from 712 to 5481 on the same dose I've been on for the last 4-5 months. My Estradiol level was 59 last week. Not sure if that's the same as E2 or not.

My total test gets above 2000 with 150mg and is still over 1500 5 days later. So it might be extreme but it's possible for 400 to put someone above 5000
He only switched me to test c last week after I went in with symptoms of ED and being lethargic, etc. My results didn't come back until 2 days later. I've been on 400 mg/week of test e for 4 months and it has never jumped up like this. I'm sure the test is incorrect. Heck, if my test level is 5481 then nobody wants a level this high cause I feel like crap and have for about a month now.

How many mg is .5 ml? Before you were doing 400mg correct? Were both tests done day 7 like this one? 623 on day 7 seems ok but if you switched to e5d injections it would be better

.5 is 200mg and my injections are every 7 days, so I've cut my dosage in half. I guess I could go to E5d injections. My insurance will pay for 5ml per month which is what I'm calling 5cc, so theoretically, I could do six 200mg injections E5D in a 30 day period and still have 2ml of test left over. I'll have to order some syringes from RUI.

Sounds good 200mg e5d will be hassle free still but more stable blood levels. Should put total t over 2000 though FYI
