TestE too long??

So I have been running testE for about 10 weeks now, and was going to do a 12 week cycle. So far the results have been great, but I really didn't feel the "kick in" until around week 6. My question is would it be ok to run the test for an extra 6-8 weeks, making it a 18- 20 week test cycle? I want to go through the first half of the summer on cycle, and like I said, I didn't really start seeing major results until about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I feel stopping after 12 weeks would be short-changing myself.

I have a rock solid post cycle therapy (pct) set up, and no health problems to speak of. Any opinions, advice pls?

i did 15 weeks, wish i did more but i dont regret it, you see most of your gains during the going on gear fresh, id post cycle therapy (pct) and then wait a bit and go back on... you'll see alot better gains then prolonging your test cycle

cool, I see ya got your old user name back.

Thanks for the quick responses. The thing is I am probably not going to cycle again until next spring, I am not in any competition and see no need to cycle during the winter. I really want to make THIS cycle count! Also isn't it a rule of thumb to stay off for as long as you were on? So if you were on cycle for 15 weeks you should stay off at least that long before starting another one?

Also one last question, will my results peak after a certain time anyway? Then running longer weeks all I am really doing is maintaining or would I continue to grow throughout the whole cycle until the end just with diminishing returns?

its actually time you cycle + 2 weeks after injection + post cycle therapy (pct) = time on time off, honestly i would just cruise, drop your dosage down to like 150-200mg which will put you on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), so when you come off it won't be as big of a shock plus 1 vial on 150-200mg will last you a long time, 1 vial should be about 2 months

Yeah but I don't want to permanently shut down my natty test either! I am still pretty young, (32), so I don't want to have to deal with getting Rx test for the rest of my life lol. My knowledge is a little shaky, but won't running test for a long period of time(>20 weeks or more) permanently shut down my natty test production for good, or make it so its less than before even when totally off everything?

honestly, you should be fully aware that running test always has a chance of shutting you down, it all depends on the person, some people dont recovery after first cycle of like 10 weeks, steroids = russian roulette

Yeah but I did do a lot of research, the chances of it shutting you down for good after one 10 week cycle are very, very small. Like getting struck by lightning small! But do the chances increase the longer you run the test for?

I am doing 15 weeks for my first cycle. But logically expect to lose a week on your cycle since vials etc. I have 3 10ml vials, and I don't imagine each vial is exactly that much in it. So my 15 weeks, I logically assume I may get 14 weeks.

I don't agree with this. Again, every one is different. You have to realize that blood work is the deciding factor if you are shut down or not, not neccesarily how you feel. I have known a lot of guys who have cycled and felt great even after their cycle and then realized their T is low along with their sperm count. The thing to do is blood test before you even start taking gear and get a baseline of where your T levels are at. Then cycle and then post cycle therapy (pct) and then wait a month or 2 and then get some more blood work and see where you are at. A lot of guys get shut down after one cycle, trust me. Again remember, there are different degrees of shutdown. If a guy has a starting Total T level of 900 and then cycles and is later at 700, does that mean he is permanently shut down?? No, but as you see, his T levels did decline. The longer you are on, the harder your recovery can be. Again, it is hard to say because there are so many variables. And also, you are not young bro at 32 years old in the cycling world in my opinion. Especially considering how estrogenic our society is, you might have even had low T levels before you started this cycle. Again, this is where blood work comes in handy and remember not many guys actually get blood work done.

you will continue to benefit and grow as long as your diet and calories are in surplus, once you stop factor in time for drugs to clear and post cycle therapy (pct) before considering another

Don't cruze, thats for people who are already on replacement therapy, avoid that and be well

edit : you have been shut down since the first week

this is trueee, when i was on 159ng/dl i thought i was on top of the world, felt great but had blood work done and realized i had test of a 90 year old..... feeelsbadman

Thanks for the advice rip. I actually did have bloodwork done prior to my cycle, and I had my test levels checked. My levels were actually really good and actually on the high side. I was just saying that 32 may not be young for the cycling world but it is young comparatively speaking. Definitely too young to have to rely on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the rest of my life!

So what is your opinion then, should I run the test for 18-20 weeks, or should I just stop after the initial 12 which is what I was going to do in the first place?

trt is not bad, you will always have higher test then the average person and you'll maintain it no matter how old you are, while when you're natural your test decreases as you age

yeah I understand that but for me, I would rather not have to rely on an Rx the rest of my life, even of it is just test. Thats the cycle of life if you will, people get old, test production goes down, I don't want to permanently mess up my body I just dont want that hassle.

not trying to be negative but honestly if you're so worried about shutting yourself down and so happy bout your natty test levels, maybe juicing isn't for you.... just imagine, for all you know you might be perm shut down after this cycle...

Yeah I weighed the pros and cons beforehand, I didn't just jump into it. I understand that I can be shut down, and although my natty levels were on the high side, they obviously aren't what they are on cycle lol. I came to the conclusion that the benefits outweigh the risks, and I know that if I do get shut down then I can only blame myself.

Back to my question though, lol, would running the test for 18-20 weeks instead of the initial 12 I was planning increase my chances of being shut down for good, or is it all the same at this point?(meaning if I stop after 12 weeks or 20 weeks the chances are the same)

Ignore dennis, getting all those red bars next to his name once again is going to his head. :p You can extend your cycle, but I wouldn't go any longer than 16 weeks personally. Yes, there are inherent risks no matter how long or how much AAS you put in your body, but I wouldn't tempt fate if you catch my drift.
