minus 12 months
i started to notice a mild gyno (not fat).
-11 months
did bloodwork, T somewhat low, but within range. got referral to an endocrinologist.
-10 months
saw endocrinologist. did bloodwork, T a little below range
doc says mariJ use causes gyno.
did mammogram, confirmed: mild gyno
(weirdly, the gyno is not noticeable after the shower, or when it's cold)
doc gave me tamoxifen

took tamoxifen for 3 months—didn't do anything for my gyno
and it killed my libido

saw a doctor in brazil (where i'm from, they are much less conservative there). he prescribed an aggressive combo of RX: clomifen, arimidex, aromasin, oxandrolone.

still no libido

even more improvements on gyno. mirror test. it's very very very subtle at this point. i could almost say it's gone.
zero libido! i no longer have a relationship with my willie. like i don't care about sex whatsoever.

asked the same brazilian doctor to address my libido situation. he gives me another Rx combo: a pill for erectile disfunction, clomifen, and flutamide. i know, don't ask me why flutamide... perhaps he was trying to prevent hair loss? i have enough hair for 3 people.
taking the pill for ED felt ridiculous. it would give me an erection but there was no intention or thought process about it. it felt mechanical and pleasureless.

looks like gyno is coming back. did some research and voila, flutamide does that. immediately stopped taking it. called the brazilian doc is he's like, "throw letrozole at it".
at this point i'm feeling like a fu&^%ing experiment. i don't do letrozole.

back in the US, saw a new american endocrinologist. good guy here in NY.
he asked for bloodwork. it showed that my T levels were ok, but my free T levels were low (200) and that was caused by the super super high SHBG at 90. the SHBG was eating up all the test my body was producing.
doc gave me 2 options: arimidex only (both for the mild gyno [which you can see on my photo btw, that is accurate still] and for the high SHBG); OR, a combo of arimidex and testim. i went with option B.
note that at this point, i still have no libido. zero.

i'm now on day 3 of testim (1 tube/day) + arimidex 1g/day. on all 3 days a had ONE spontaneous erection out of the blue... also, i immediately felt an increase in mood (subtle, but i'm pretty perceptive). on day 3 i learned to apply testim using a plastic zip lock around my hand, so i think absorption was much better (without the ziplock i noticed that i'd lose a lot of the cream, it'd stick in my hand and i'd wash it off). i think absorption was much better judging by an epic erection i had in the middle of the night (although i'm not feeling sexual just yet)
i'm interested in learning what kinda of muscle increases i can expect from this treatment (in addition to learning what it does about my libido and mild gyno, of course). i read a lot of threads here where people say testim isn't good, that i injection is the way to go, that injections are much better. but the people who are saying injections are better are taking a much higher dose of T. so of course it's better. nevertheless, my T levels are about to increase (the point of taking testim is to raise it right? even if just a little). T in conjunction with good eating and exercise produces muscle. i am hoping to see progress. if you have insight on this, or are curious about what the outcome would be, please subscribe to this thread and participate.
