Testosterone @ 1055ng/dL: Feel Exactly the Same!

Well, after 6 weeks of jus' Testosterone Cypionate (50 mg's every 4 days), I went from a 300ish level to 1055ng/dL. I am in the process of obtaining some insurance because I had ran out so they only tested total testosterone to keep the costs to a minimum.

My jaw hit the floor when I heard my results. I was SO SURE my Testosterone was still in the tank because I was feeling exactly the same. I was guessing that the 50mg's shut down my natural production and it wasn't enough to compensate for my natural production of 300 + more supplemental T.

I wanted them to retest my Estradiol numbers but that test alone was 230 bucks so I decided to wait on that. Isn't there a place I can order an E2 test online and walk into a lab to have my blood drawn without a doctor's referral? I'm hoping it would be significantly cheaper. I'm beginning to think my E2 level is in check because at 1055ng/dL, it seems like none of my 50mg's are going to waste!

I don't know what to do. I am in a state of shock still. I plan on going back on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) once I establish a baseline of TT, FT and E2 on 50mg of T Cyp alone. What else should I look into? As stated before, my TSH was below 2.00, T4, and T3 were in the upper range. The only thing I wonder about is my FT3 levels but at this point, I'm feeling hopeless that'll change a damn thing.

I've been having the same problem. I've felt pretty much the same with very high Total and Free T as I did with low (my muscles respond differently though). My E2 has been in the 30's. I'm working to get that down to see if that's the ticket to feeling better.

If thats the case i would lower the test. i was doing a lot of reading yesterday from a good testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doc and he said his patients that were to high on T for a long period of time felt better when it was lowered. more is not always better. your e2 looks fine. could be slightly lower but 30 isnt high at all.

thats why my goal is to get to the top of the normal range and stay there.

test e2, free testosterone, and shbg. without those your test could be one million and u could still feel like shit. hell other endocrine parts may be missing. whats your am cortisol level?

Please don't just give up yet...without those results.

I got a new endo, he bumped my HCG to 750 IUs 3 times a week for the last month. Just got my new tests, my T levels are now 839 which is a huge improvement from 306, but now my E2 is 106 up from 30! He didn't even order an E2, I asked my primary doc to order it cause I was concerned without an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) I was going to have elevated E2 (I was right). I'll have a phone consult with the new endo next week.

I'm kinda like you, I have decent T levels now but high E. My energy levels are good but I'm retraining a lot of fluid and have zero libido. I'm going to insist that they put me on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) when I talk to him.

Anyone have a recommended Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and dose?

Before going on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I tried AI-monotherapy to correct my issues. (Do a search under my screen name). I did a baseline test to see where my levels were. My baseline E2 was 62pg/dL so I dosed my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) at .25mg's every day. After 6 weeks my E2 went down to 24pg/dL. Might want to try that dosing.

that is unfortunate you do not have insurance. I assume that you are grateful that you were accepted to work with a conservative protocol.
