Ok, this is starting to piss me off now! I've been on 200 mg Test C injections per week for several months now. Feel great. Test levels were low(around 200) as Im 43 years old. I've had really no complications of the therapy - until now!!!! Freakin' acne is getting on my nerves!! Major breakouts on the shoulders and now even my back is starting. My wife works for a dermatologist and got me some acne creams to try, but they are not helping much! Im not sure what to do... is this just a fact of life as a side effect of test therapy?? Does anyone have any recommendations???

Don't really have any recommendations, but I broke out BAD on 300mgs a week..It cleared up when I up my dose to 800mgs a week....

I started with 200mg/week for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and once the doc let me off the hook with blood tests, i did a cycle and up'd it to 300-500. Didnt really break out until the end, now that i am back down to 50mg/week i cant stop breaking out. Curious how long it takes after a cycle to have sides go away when you stay on a low dose of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) thereafter. PS....only 50 becasue i need to drop my #'s before a blood test and my doc finds out i was on a real cycle. Then after im clear i will be going to 100-150 which is what the doc wants anyways per week.

So i cannot answer your question, but have one of my own?

there are more people having the same problems. We have been posting and sharing ideas. Basically we are like teenagers again as our hormones are going crazy. anyway here are some suggestions.

Salt water (you can scrub with salt in the shower if the ocean is not a option)

Tanning

Salycitic acid I use clean and clear scrub exphoiliate (spelling)with it

Hot tub (really helps before you or your girl attacks and before you scrub in the shower)
They sell a tool for popping the blackheads out. I really recomend this as it is a lot less painful. Some people a Aromatase inhibitor (AI) helps some not.

Dude - get a sulfer scrub from dermatologist and a cream called Evoclin - it works great. acne happens on a CHANGE in test levels. it will lessen over time. i had the same problem. it actually got better when i went on a cycle - go figure - like i sais it was the change in test levels that fucked me. also, change sheets often and shower after working out.

the big huge welts go away over time - but man, they suck - i get some that are should have their own names.

the scrub is a sulfer sulfacytamide scrub - use a loufa for your back and scrub it - i still get acne but not those big-ass welts

I wouldn't recommend dropping to 50mg per week. Just drop back down to 150mg/wk and give it some time. Low test has a set of negative health implications as well.

thanks much for the feedback. especially fleverglades. the wifey scored me some wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide in it. thats gotta work!!! this so pisses me off!!! I'll let u know if I have any success with it. will keep the Evoclin suggestion available and ask my wife about it and what all it contains as well.... thanks again!!!!

Treat the problem not the symtoms. I'm betting your estro is to high.
Use a AI..

I've gone through the same shit.

I bet if you increased your Test to 4000-500mg the acne break outs would subside.

But when using a low dose of Test 200-300mg running a Aromatase inhibitor (AI) cures the problem.

Back and shoulder acne

I've had the same problem for 3-4 months now. It is slowly getting a little better. I've had all of my levels checked and they are all normal. Been to the dermatologist and he put me on Solodyn. I have been taking that for 6 weeks and it is just now started to clear up. I also use Panoxyl soap that the dermatologist recommended. Wash with Panoxyl 2-3 times a day, do not use scrub or scrub it with a scrubber! This will only spread it. Vitamin B5(Pantothenic acid) will also help. I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 1 year and my acne happened 9 months into it. It sucks! Hope this helps.
