Unfortunately we all know how the last few years has gone for bodybuilding. I remember writing a post on the subject a couple years ago. The post was called "discrimination among bodybuilders" a colleague of mine laughed as I wrote it. He felt that it was "just in my head." I pointed out how I was aware that some very qualified bodybuilders were turned down for positions that they were highly qualified for based on their "look." I also spoke about how if a bodybuilder walks into a room 8 out of 10 males will make their jealous comments such as..."steroid boy", "walking pharmacy", "no dick", etc. The most disturbing comment I have seen is when someone who drinks beer and smokes everyday, ie: "congress?, house? senate?", or even worse the outlaw partiers, ie: "pot heads, coke heads, dwi alcoholics" , will actually give the point of view that steroids will kill you and take years off your life? I ask these people than.... where is the death epidemic? The athletes of the seventies should all be dead. Very few are, and there is nothing to show that steroids were the cause. The other 98% of users are perfectly healthy and are outliving the finger pointers.
Is this what the United States has become? A group of jealous politicians, and citizens, which many of whom drink and smoke, having the right to make decisions for athletes. Furthermore, at the same time we are in war! These jealous, disgruntled old men, have placed athletic hormones in catagories that are controlled substances? I have never herd a teenager say he picked up a bottle of testosterone and wanted to go out and party. The lack of education in the house and senate is very disturbing to me, and we can almost all agree that when the announcement was made to go after the "andro" bolics, and the bill actually passed through the house, it shows exactly what Rick Collins has stated in the past. "This is a witch hunt" It falls right into the corruption of having a "WAR ON DRUGS" and a "WAR ON TERRORISM" at the same time? It is very illogical and immoral to have these wars continuing on and on. This is very irresponsible politics. I truely believe that no matter what you do here, the law is dictating. We are only free to do what the government says we can do. I am not feeling freedom here anymore. If the DEA has the right to do whatever they want in the USA, "and they do" , is'nt that a form of communism? I am ready to move to Canada, and I thought I would never say that.
