Not particularly. Their is definitely blood flow to the muscles I am working but not a skin tight pump. But then again, six reps is considered high for me.

do you think to get growth you need to get a good pump or not?
No. DoggCrapp and others have written about this subject somewhat and I tend to agree with their general consensus. While the blood in the muscle has a purpose, it is not the reason why the muscle will grow in the end and is not an indicator of such.
before i really starting reading the material on these forums i was under the impression that the better workout you had could be gauges by the pump your muscles were feeling, i learned this is not the case, and although it does feel more rewarding at the end, i dont think it really has anything to do with muscle growth.
l seee l seee...was just wondering..because l can have two diffrent types of workouts...1 l will have less rest times but obviously will need a lighter weight and get a pump...then l can have longer rest times and lift some heavier stuff l dont get as much as a pump.

Yes I get crazy pumps on whatever im working every workout. Just a light flex is like a full hard flex. I for myself I like to believe that pumps are important but who knows. Ronnie coleman gets huge pumps so I know that it is part of training for some anyway.
Also, I only train heavy. 7-12 reps, maybe 14 on rare occasion. All sets are to failure except for my warm up sets of course. I never go under 7 reps. If I can not do 7 reps it is too heavy. Thats how I like to do it. I don't want my bodybuilding to turn into powerlifting. I go by the feel.
