those of you that eat breakfast on the run

I have early classes and it seems that its hard enough to eat in the morning so what i do is this.


2 scoops of whey ON
1 cup of raw oats
20 oz of water

put that in a shaker and drink up. Its good cause the whey absorbs quickly and gets the muscles after fasting for 6-8 hours and always nice good low glycemic carbs in the morning.

Thats 48grams of protein\50 grams of carbs in under a minute i just drink it and go to class.


Anyone else ever on the run before work etc?
 
I'll have to give this one a try. My first class on MWF is at 8:30 and it seems like I'm always running late so I usually just take a meal replacement shake and hit the road. I'm still drinking it as I walk into class. My professor looks at me weird sometimes, but I guess political science instructors aren't that big into lifting weights. Thanks for the recipe though.
 
Oatmeal shakes are fun, once you start chewing your shakes it really gets interesting.

I am not a fan of drinking meals, however, when oats are added it helps.

I find that when I am on the run in the a.m. I just grab a banana for the drive, then drink me a shake when I get to where I need to go, or even before I leave. Not the best, but it is better than nothing.
 
raw oats, fresh squeezed oj, and some whey...

its like cereal.

i look forward to it everymorning.
