tired of boiled oatmeal for breakfast? try this..

something I came up with..just another way of making my breakfast while using the same ingredients.
I usually have 16 oz (460g) egg whites and 120g oatmeal (dry)..instead of having boiled oatmeal w/ scrambled egg whites, heres another way:

add 120g oatmeal w/ water in blender; add some of the egg whites; 12 pkts. splenda, cpl. shakes of cinnamon.
-mix consistency should be similar to pancake batter (I've been estimating)

- cook batter in skillet w/ pam spray, sprikle w/ molly mcbutter low sodium.

- scramble the remainder of the eggwhites not used in the batter.

equals apprx. 80g carbs, 50g protei
 
i mix my egg whites in with my oatmeal like ronnie does (excpet he has grits), and just add some cheese on top and your set
 
Add fresh fruit, cook in milk if you are not intolerant to it, vanilla extract makes the flavor more palatable. Cinnamon--but eat the real oatmeal that needs to be cooked it is so much better and does not simply taste like paste.
 
man thats alot of work, i dont even boil my oatmeal. a cup of oatmeal with a tiny bit of water and throw it in the radiation box for a minute. chew that stuff down.

Grits and eggwhites mixed in the same bowl thats what i do...i will use oatmeal when i get tired of grits
 
I mix 50g CFM Isolate protein with a cup of 1 minute oatmeal, shake, drink and I'm done.

Takes about 10 seconds.

I sure do miss my egg whites though. I'm going to the grocery store and buying 2 1/2 dozen......

I need my eggs back in my life.

Plus, I love the gas. :laugh4:
 
I mix egg white powder, oatmeal, splenda, cinnamon, vanilla extract and some blueberries. Add some water stir and eat. I love it.
