I know alot of members are active duty or veterans in the military so since I have a virtual soap box I will use it to thank all of you. Every year Memorial Day is considered the kick off of summer. No work on Monday for most, BBQ, Weddings, Traveling are all things that come up for the long weekend.
I know that none of these plans and parties would ever take place with out the sacrifice of the military personal that give up so much to protect our way of life. I know some of you feel that its just a job or that its a paycheck like any other profession but to me its so much more. I envy the courage it took to sign up , The strength it took to get through training , and the pain endured to be away from loved one's for so long , to miss out on so much to keep us at home safe . It takes true character to do what you do so from me I would like to say thank you for your service , may you be safe and secure this year coming, and have all that you need for the rest of your days is what I wish for you. I should have wrote this yesterday but I was busy taking for granted what you people have given to me, my freedom
