Total Testosterone Fluctuations Before Starting TRT?

I have finally found a great MD who is knowledgeable in hormone replacement therapies and have will begin testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) next week (200 Test cyp IM and HCG). My question is related to my current testosterone values (not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) yet). My initial labs were taken about 2pm and had I had a total testosterone of 108. A few weeks later when I found my new Dr., he wanted additional labs because the first ones were missing Estradiol. My 2nd set of labs were taken at 4pm and total testosterone value was 230. I was surprised that since I am not yet on any testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that my total testosterone values fluctuated by that much. I know they are typically highest inthe morning and decline throughout the day, but is it typicall for levels to be 50% lower on different days of the week? Seems like a large drop. I knew they could fluctuate by 10-20% throughout the day or week depending on when values are taken, it just seems like a huge drop.

Is this typical?

they really shouldnt be checking in the afternoon specially late afternoon. I would ask to be tested before 8-9am some morning. But fluctations are just natural i was 210 and 173 two different times. Theres a lot that goes into it, did you drink, sleep right, sex ,etc.
