hey guys quick question. while one AS is it a good idea to train a muscle group twice a week for example my friend is doing

monday - chest/ back
tuesday arms/shoulders
wed- legs
thus- chest/back
fri- arms shoulders.

he is not on AS but i was wondering if anyone else has tried this. he seems to be making good gains.

if you dont normally train that way you may overtrain..

when running cycles its best to stick with a routine that you know ha worked for you..after your through with post cycle therapy (pct) etc and working natty is when you experoment with a new routine..if you make gains without Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) you can be sure the gains will be better when you do add the super supps

i would at least go
chest/back
legs
shoulders/arms
skip a day
chest/back
legs
cuz if yur putting chest and shoulders on consecutive days yoiul never get the recovery you need fer those front delts

i dont get this what does your split look like??
Split? What split?
I train full body, a training is about 45-50 minutes. It consists off:
-squats
- benchpress
- bent over row
- overhead barbell press
- dumbel curl
- hanging leg raise or crunches
- rotator cuff excersis (‘cause of an old injurie)
or:
- deadlifts
- dipping
- chinning
- overhead dumbbell press
- hanging leg raise or crunches
- rotator cuff excersis
And I do 2 sets, nothing more. Every 2 weeks I change the rep scheme, varying from 5 reps up to 15. And when I feel like it I take a week rest (mostly every 6 or 8 weeks).
For most people this schedule would mean undertraining. For me it is perfect. Without the help from a.a.s this schedule gives me steady growth in size and strength. With the help from a.a.s. this schedule gives me very very fast gains. Although I have to admit I only did 2 cycles, so probably any training schedule would have made me grow very fast, lol.

how many days a week you train?

I like HST too. Just switched back to it.

Standard is to train 3x a week pullin. Some people do variatins with more, less or the same frequency.

@ pullinbig: moslty three times a week. Sometimes 2 times a week. Depends on how much time I have.
That’s the big advantage of HST, it is very flexible. There are only a few basic “rules”, within those rules you can make a training schedule that fits perfect to your physique and lifestyle.

I've always trained all body parts twice per week since I started lifting 2 years ago ..... maybe i just recover quickly cuz i notice whenever i miss even 1 day my strength decreases :(

You just think you are weaker. You think you can’t lift that weight for another rep, but you probably could with the right attitude. I say this because almost everybody I know reports a slight increase in strength if they take a week off after training intensively for a certain period.
And it is pretty much impossible to lose strength in a short period of time, as long as you keep your diet up. The only exception to this rule is when you are stronger then genetically predisposed with the help of a.a.s. (no idea if I use the right words? I hope you get the point.).
