Training Dilemma

I've got more fat than I care far at the moment, not got a big gut, but not got hard muscles either.
I've been out for a year injured.
anyway my goal is to be around 260-280lbs all muscle, i'm currently 215ish not much hard muscle.

Should I lose weight first (cutting) or should i just start bulking up in terms of eating and lifting, but add more cardio than the usual guy?
Would it be pointless to drop 30lbs then spend out on shakes to put it back on?
 
I'd start bulking but with a clean diet.... Also add cardio and you'll drop the extra bf.... Hitting a solid 260 isnt gonna happen overnight. If you have the genetics and training down it can be achieved over a decent period of time...
