Training frequency

How often to train?

What's your experience, is 2 or 3 times a week per muscle more effective? Have you tried both? I've always hit each muscle 3 times weekly, it seems that many go with only 2 which would seem sacreligious now but if it helps..

1 to 2 times a week. It all depends if you're natural or not.
 
I've done both. I used to hit each muscle 3x/week, but only two sets on each day. I grew on that.



I now do each group one time per week. Whatever works for you.
 
I train with DC, and we do 1 exercise per bodypart, 5 exercises per workout, and 15 exercises per week, and we hit each muscle group 2 times every eight days.

So we train 3 days per week...
 
Once a week per muscle seems like nothing, hard to believe this would do anything other than maintain. Twice a week sure..
