Training recommendation?

Hey,I am new at doing in weights and I would like if you can help me, to tell me like when I go to the gym,which muscle ot work out and for how long so I wont over due it.Like for example a friend told me to do chest and bicept one day, back and tricept the second day and shoulder and legs the third day. What would you recommend me to do?is this a good technique?

i would recco that you do NOT listen to your friend
a BB split is the absolute worst way to train and 99% of most guys in the gym train that way..

stick around here and learn/read also at teh top of this forum there are stickies with many routines and videos showing all the moves in those routines..starting with one of those would put you on a much better footing than doing chest/bi's etc

Yea?? o ok thanks. i heard that when I do back I should do bicept,and the next day I could do chest with tricept.
