Travelling with growth hormone using gel packs > allowed as hand luggage?

Hi, i fly with growth hormone using 2 gel packs as seen in picture.
When i put these gel packs in the checked baggage no problem. Now i wonder if they will stop me when i put the packs in my hand (cabin) luggage (when going through the scanner). Since you can't put liquids over 100ml in your hand luggage. Anyone who has experienced problems with this? I can't afford being stopped and having to throw away my gel packs. Cause then the growth hormone will die.

you need to check in it with check in luggage.. and i hope its a short flight.. or your gh will be ruined regardless

i would check in the luggage and pray its a short flight too... how long is the flight? i think i read hgh can last 1 hour out in normal temp before it starts to degrade...but i could be wrong..i think i remember reading this...hope this helps

the 2 gel packs can keep it cool for 24hrs. i have tested this many times and it works. see product info on medactiv dot com. So keeping it cool is NOT the problem. I am only concerned about not passing the scanner. I wonder if wrapping the whole thing in plastic like they sometimes ask you do do if you have liquids in your hand luggage, will do the job.

Hmmm, just flew international and domestic (in Indonesia) with a gel pack larger than yours, needles, Gh and HCG in my carry on. Had a doctors note but never needed to show it.

Based on my experience you can carry on with no issues. I believe people travel with cool-packs and insulin often, so these type of things aren't going to raise any red flags.
