I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 4 weeks...Im eating healthy and training hard... I' trying to drop a few lbs (doing lots of cardio)...However, my weight dosen't seem to be moving at all..Doe's the Test keep the weight on??

Test will not keep you from burning fat.... Post your diet and personal stats so we can see if we can help.

Test will help you put on size (muscle mass). If you're trying to cut weight you'd better off dropping body fat and increasing lean mass by lifting heavy, eat whole foods, and keep cardio to walking. Chronic cardio is NOT a good way to lose weight, especially on TRT.

I found this out myself, lifting heavy for the last few weeks. Diet isn't perfect, but pants are fitting looser and I'm gaining weight. Since I haven't lifted in awhile this is to be expected. I'm sure the scale will eventually turn the other way. I've been keeping my cardio moderate for 3 times a week but focusing on big lifts that hit major muscle groups. Basically old school weight training until I get dialed in on my protocol.

Weirdly enough, I didn't lose much strength in my bench or squat after a 10 month layoff, just a little shaky in balancing the weight

Oh..any my protocol in case anyone cares:

25mg Aristozole EOD

175mg test cyp E5d

600 units of HCG twice a week

25mg of thyroid ED

25mg of clomid ED

I was having some trouble losing weight and found that I don't meet my daily caloric minimum. I use to skip breakfast, grab some lunch and some dinner and maybe a snack most days of the week. Since then, I've been eating small portions 5-6 times a day and I'm losing weight much quicker.

Its all about the diet.

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for almost 18 months now. In that time I was able to both loose and gain weight depending on what I did with my diet.

Right now I am on a bulking phase. I was able to gain 10lbs in 1 month. Before that I lost 30lbs over a 12 month period. I keep protein consistant at around 300grams a day. I just reduce or up the carbs depending on wether I want to gain or lose.

The great thing about the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is that is helps keep down muscle loss during a dieting phase.

Yes, you are def rite about the carbs..I have cut out alot of carbs this week and I can already notice a loss. My body seems to be really "carb" sensitive.
