TRT always accompanied with other medicines

Is TRT always accompanied with an Aromatase Inhibitor (Arimidex) or HCG? Or does it depend on certain hormone levels

No. AI is dependent upon estradiol levels. Many guys do not need an AI on TRT.

I encourage hCG while on TRT but I would bet the majority of men do not use it.

when people start out on TRT its the first time in a while the body will have sufficient testosterone and estradiol in a long time. Unless youve ran steroids or had pubescent gyno mangaing estradiol is not really something to get too worried about. In the first 6 months or so the body will have to get used to having enough testosterone, so it can be a rocky period. Hematocrit, and Estradiol(using the sensitive test) need to be monitored.

Well it's my first time. I'm just worried because of being extremely overweight. Supposedly caused by Low Testosterone as the doc put me on several diets and never lost any weight. T level was at 228 and have been on it for almost 2 weeks and I've dropped 18lbs

what kind of diets did he put you on that you did not lose weight?

We tried watching calories and I lost 15lbs and 5 months later I was still at the same weight. Tried ketogenic (same thing I'm on now but a lot more determined) and it didn't last but 3 days. I loved potatoes too much back then. Tried a pre-diabetic meal plan and I felt a lot better and all my health signs dramatically improved but I lost 6 pounds in 6 months. Then it was basically low carb but he called it the "nothing white diet". At that point I said forget it and gave up. Ironically I was probably eating at least 4 to 5k calories a day (unhealthy processed foods and had stopped working out) and I did that for 4 months and gained 2lbs. I couldn't gain or lose weight and thyroid checked fine. It wasn't until 8 months later he checked my Test levels and found out I had extremely low Test. My first panel came back at 114. After 3 months of a Keto diet and working out it peaked at 228 and 237. So now I'm on Test after he read a similar case online and decided to give this a shot. My problem is there's no center around here and you guys are basically my doctors. He sent in the prescription and when I went the pharmacy told me they couldn't sell me syringes without doctors approval. I went to him and he didn't know it was injectable. He told me in all the movies he had seen it was a pill. I had to argue him to be allowed to split my injections to keep it from spiking because he thought the idea was absurd. That's what I'm dealing with. So I'm sorry for all the stupid questions and posts

Took me a second to realize what you meant by Doogie Houser. Yeah he's honestly a terrible Doctor. He's not an MD but a DO. Ironically only Doctor in my insurance plan in a 30 mile radius. Joys of living in the middle of nowhere in Alabama where the nearest Walmart is 45 minutes away. The only convenience is I can call in and get a z pack for upper respiratory infections

"In the United States, physicians (medical doctors) who practice medicine hold either the Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (DO). Other than DO medical students learning osteopathic manipulative medicine, the medical training for MDs and DOs is indistinguishable." --Wikipedia
