Trt?

Have a family or people you're afraid of passing the hormones onto accidentally by contact. If you have small children, that's an automatic dump on the transdermals. You can also be one of the folks that don't do well with transdermals with regards to absorption, but that requires a couple months of tests and a stubborn demeanor to get past.

#1 risk of transfer with gels/creams
#2 injections are cheaper (if done yourself)
#3 injections work better for most people

I told my doc the gels werent cutting it. Also tossed in the worried about kids and I was headed to pharmacy with script for injectable test. Keep in mind I still had to try it his way and wait a year before I pushed for the injection over gel route saying its time for change because its not cutting it. Some docs are anti injection from what I've read. I wish I had just went the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) specialist route and found a way to make cost work. Less headaches, less feeling like carp and your get the proper meds.
A lot of docs start you out once evey month. If your lucky you can get it every two weeks but the once a week is a hard sell. A lot of Regular docs freak out if your on the high side regardless where your free test levels are. Plus I know mine won't prescribe an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) either.
