TrueProtein Whey value -vs- ON Whey value

I've been checking out out the TrueProtein site and I'm a bit confused here.

I always hear everyone on the board saying go to TP.com for your protein powder, but when I did the calculations (I could also be doing it wrong) on the site it comes out to WAY more than what I pay now for ON Whey.

Right now this is exactly what I get: http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/100-whey-gold-standard-p-201.html

Flavor is different and all as well as price (I pay $39.99 for a 5.15lb tub, the same one their selling on their site for $75.00).

I don't see where the discount is? Can someone help break this down to me?

I really want to start saving money in all aspects of my life, but especially pertaining to my supps (being they are the most expensive at times).

Some feedback would be great.

TP isnt going to be cheaper in every single aspect across the board. They have great prices, top quality products, and awesome customer service.

i just got a price of $36.20 for 5 pounds of whey concentrate with premium banana cream flavor in a jug (equivalent to the ON protien with the $75 MSRP). If you really wanted to save money you could get the protein with a free flavor in a food grade bag for $29.45. use my discount code and pay $34.39 or $27.98, respectively.

You know if you go with TP you are also going to get a good quality powder. I have tried almost all of their powders and I have never had trouble with any of them clumping. They mix good and the flavour are very good.

TP has a lot of repeat customers and they spend no money on advertising and they are constantly growing.. that should tell you something.

Like sure said they're not going to be the best across the board, but they have a lotof quality supplements for fairly cheap. ON's nutrition is a great product as well

allthewhey.com is going to be way cheaper, and I wouldnt worry about how "quality" powders compare to each other, unless you're 100% strict with your diet and count every calorie and gram of fat etc daily.

I have talk to some people that have issues with the quality at ATW. Primarily the powder clumping and not mixing well.

If I am going to spend money on supplements I'm going to get good quality stuff.

shit i just order n now i see a dicount code that fukin sucks coulda saved on my 260$ order arghhhh!!!
.. o well this gona be my first time orderin from them i hope im happy
ps. creatine is sooo fukin sheap there !! :-P gona use the mono winter n cee/tricreatine summr u liek the creatin there as much as the protien??

I've used probably a ton of protein powder over the years, including ON, all the whey, isopure, protein factory, etc.

For almost a year now I've been using TP stuff pretty much exclusively. I LOVE the cold filtration whey isolate with orange juice indulgence flavor. It is not thickened, goes down easy, mixes easy with no clumping, doesn't bloat me, etc. I love the stuff. Its fucking nectar! I also use the team skippy blend a lot between meals (dutch chocolate flavor), and I mix team skippy with some micellar caseinate before bed.

You can pay less per pound, but I haven't used a better quality product (although isopure is perhaps equally as good in terms of quality). I think the value is very good, especially when you order 15 lbs. or more at a time as I do, and you take advantage of the discount codes. I think they have an advantage to the extent that they don't spend a lot on marketing/advertising which would have to be priced into the product. I have got great service too.

You might try emailing them and asking if they would be willing to apply the discount code even though your order has already been placed. Use mine please - TRA888. :)

That's good to know.

How do I get a discount code of my own?

I have just ordered from TrueProtein, now I have 4-5 guys in my classes at school ready to place orders, was hoping that I could have a code to give them that would benefit me in some way....
