Holy mackerel! Outlaw, hold on brother. You have a LOT going on here, and the more you keep adding to it by trying to self-medicate, the worse you're making it for yourself.
First, nolvadex is NOT an aromatase inhibitor, it's a SERM - this drug is used explicitly for preventing excess estradiol from attaching to your receptors in your breast tissue, causing gynecomastia (man boobs). You need a REAL Aromatase inhibitor (AI) such as arimidex (anastrozole) or aromasin (exemestane) which can be obtained through a knowledgeable doctor that will work with you on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Do NOT take nolva thinking this will prevent you from making more estrogen, it simply does not and won't help the other sides that come from testosterone supplementation.
Second: Using gear from Mexico is not the long-term solution here. Do you really want to chance getting bunk crap from Mexico (you can thank the DEA for killing that market) that not only will likely be underdosed, but also could potentially be dirty? You're injecting these substances into your body, the last thing you want is an abscess caused because you're taking a shortcut here. You still have PLENTY of options at your disposal.
Third: The pellet implant that was suggested is frankly crap. An incision is made into your buttocks where this large pellet is placed and you have ZERO control over the amount of testosterone that is delivered, not to mention it has to be done over and over. No thanks!
Fourth: It's very possible that your extended usage of opiates combined with a neck injury caused this. Unfortunately, as you have been honest with the doctors you've had contact with - finding out is going to be more difficult, compounded by the fact that you have suppressed your natural production by taking testosterone from your friend. I know you want to do the right thing and hope that doctors will see beyond your self-treatment by injecting testosterone on your own, but they can only think of their medical license being in jeopardy because they are helping a person known to "abuse" anabolic substances. We know you just want to feel better, but they simply cannot risk taking you in with this knowledge. That's why it's best to leave that out of your discussions with doctors to be honest. The stigma regarding AAS is very real and many doctors STILL don't understand how it works or even how it benefits us men. It wasn't but 50 years ago that the medical community was bullied into LYING to the public, stating that AAS does nothing to you but make you angry and cause atrophy of your genitalia. (Seriously.)
Fifth: The
best thing you can do here is to keep plugging away at doctors and bring your symptoms to their attention. Stress how poor your quality of life is and that you have heard of these being symptoms of low testosterone. Ask to have a full physical and hormone panel done. If you start injecting again, you only prolong this from being a reality of having
sustainable and
quality health care. Let a doctor have a go at it first. There will be some hoops to jump through and you will be getting many blood tests in the future, but I promise you - it's worth it in the end.
You live 4 hours away from a large city, take your time and research the doctors there and make some calls. Feel them out and see how they feel about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) - this could save you some serious footwork and time. I really enjoy some of the sites like healthgrades.com which patients rate doctors and give opinions on their performance. Again, there will be some b.s. to sift through as an angry customer will always invariably leave more information, but there is still quality knowledge to be gained.
Stick with it man, I'd definitely see what IMT can do for you. If they don't turn out to be the best fit for you, hit up those docs in Anchorage. You sound like you still have a bit to learn here, so do yourself a favor and keep reading. This site is FULL of great information that you can use to arm yourself in future engagements with doctors as many will need some tactful answers provided to steer them in the correct direction. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, this is coming from a guy that spent almost a DECADE with low testosterone and being treated for everything BUT it. Remember, taking shortcuts only short you in the end.
