TT number your trt wants for a target

Low MCH and MCV and high RBC: I bet your iron is low. Have you tested ferritin? Are you supplementing iron?

Yes lol mh iron was 9 ref(19-40) I think doc added 325 mg ferrous sulfate to my meds. I've never been low iron before. Can aas affect thus too. I did a self phlebotomy on jan 1 (20 oz)

You lose about 200mg of iron with every blood donation (or phlebotomy). Bad thing (for me at least) is that supplementing iron seems to speed up the rise in HCT.

325mg ferrous sulfate has about 65mg of elemental iron, and only 10 to 20 percent of that is absorbed, so you have to take iron for a while to make up for what is lost.

Good to know boss. The mch, mcv etc all those other blood number come back after I've dropped down to trt dose?

Maybe, but for me a TRT dose is enough to produce these problems. Likely they won't normalize until you bring your iron up.
I've been taking iron for about 2 or 3 months. Haven't tested ferritin yet to see if it's been brought back up, but I have a feeling is worked because I just got back a test for HCT at 53.4% :-(

If you have heart problems i would be wary of very heavy cycles. Keep an eye on that creatinine too. Remember, high blood pressure can damage the kidneys. That low HDL doesn't bode well for your cardiovascular system either. Testosterone and AAS are known to drop those though. Some things that help increase HDL ; Strength training, aerobic exercise, moderate red wine consumption, fish oil, moderate/high fat intake.

I've probably been a little irresponsible with my doses the last year especially considering my heart issues. I'm dropping test levels to high normal for an extended period. I'm packing plenty of muscle @ 5-09 and 245lbs. My doc is coaxing me to stop lifting heavy especially squats as it increases intra abdominal pressures thus raising blood pressure. It's been three weeks since I've dropped test down to trt dose( my doc wants it lower) and my blood pressure has been better as of late(125/75). Supplementing iron now and trying to maintain muscle mass and cutting fat%

125/75 is excellent. I wouldn't start worrying until you got over 140 for long periods of time. Strength training only raises blood pressure acutely, which is not a health concern. Just make sure you keep up your cardiovascular health with some kind of aerobic exercise. The benefits of strength training are outstanding. increased bone density, cognitive function, diabetes prevention, and the list goes on.

I don't follow my docs wishes to the letter, but I do research if there's any questions. She wants my test level at 300... NOT gonna happen! I'll keep em under 1k!

Oh boy, *Insert mean comment about your doctor here* lol

As long as she's open minded and has your best interest in mind, then you are good to go. There is plenty of research you can print out showing that 300 is way too low for anyone over the age of 10 and under 100. Lol

She knows I handle my own trt, and doesn't like it lol. Monday she mentioned about transitioning me to astrogel so I could get my levels lower. Said she has 2 sample bottles she'll give me. Then asked if I was running out of the test cyp oil I'd been using. I told her I had ample vials of testosterone( I have 6-8 vials of prop and 4-5 test cyp and 1 enth) although I didn't mention my stache to her lol. I'll prolly take her up on the astrogel to appease her( prolly use it on my wife's ass as she sleeps) lol

I'm taking an extended vacation from supraphysicilogical levels anyway at least until my bloodwork comes back inline.

She's pretty clueless about AAS and what levels are healthy etc, but I know she has my best interests at heart, but doesn't understand the estradiol relationship
