Oh gosh, it's finally almost here. UFC 49 is coming up on August 21st
I've been waiting so long for the rematch between Randy"The Natural"
Couture and Vitor Belfort.

Of course, those of you that know me, know I'm definitely rooting for Vitor to win. Let's just hope we don't have any unfortunate happenings like last time.

Here's what the rest of the card looks like so far.

Randy Couture vs Vitor Belfort

Chuck Liddell vs Vernon White

Matt Lindland vs David Terrell

Mike Kyle vs Justin Eilers

Ron Jhun vs Chris Lytle

Nick Diaz vs Karo Parisyan

Yves Edwards vs Josh Thomson

Joe Doerkson vs Joe Riggs

Looks like it's going to be a great card!

not really a huge UFC fan but randy vs belfort looks like a cool fight
i won't call it cos i dunno anything about them to be honest

except fyre likes vitor so i'll route for couture to be controversial:p
just kidding go vitor
 
Randy Couture vs Vitor Belfort, I want Vitor but dont think he will pull it off

Chuck Liddell vs Vernon White, I am going with Chuck on this

Matt Lindland vs David Terrell, matt linland all the way

Mike Kyle vs Justin Eilers, I hope Kyle gets killed but it probably wont happen

Ron Jhun vs Chris Lytle, Lytle but it should be close

Nick Diaz vs Karo Parisyan, this should be a really good fight, if diaz tries to be cocky like he did with lawler I think he is gonna lose this one

Yves Edwards vs Josh Thomson, 2 really good fighters but Yves is one of my favs

Joe Doerkson vs Joe Riggs, dont know either of these guys

What do you mean Vitor won't pull it off? Shame, shame, shame on u bigdaddy! Vitor will win this one! :D
I'm not a big Chuck Liddell fan but I'm going to agree with you on this one. :)
I'm taking Lindland as well.
I do believe Kyle will take the win between him and Eilers.
I agree as well with you on the Jhun/Lytle fight.
Hmmmm....Edwards and Thomson. This will be a good fight. I'm going to take Yves for this one as well cuz I really like him as a fighter.
As for the last fight, I do beleive I've seen Riggs fight before but I can't picture him. They're both 6ft and roughly 185lbs each. Doerkson has a record of 27/5/0 and Riggs has a record of 20/4/0
Hopefully this will be a good fight too!
I'm really looking forward to this card. We've been waiting for too long for the Vitor/Randy rematch.

I remember first seeing Vitor fight back in 96 or so. He was only 19yrs old. Lighting fast and just whooped ass. That guy is always impressive.

You know I love Vitor, and want nothing more than for him to win, but Couture is just the fuckin man, and I dont see anyone beating that damn guy

Oh gosh, I'm getting nervous all ready.....lol
Oh and another great tidbit of news is that Wanderlei will be in Vegas rooting on Vitor Belfort. Looks like he wants a rematch! :D

Oh yah, I have all his early fights on tape. He was so bloody quick. Wait, what am I saying? He still IS bloddy quick!

I was not happy to see Vitor lose. However, I am a Couture fan as well and he definitely was on top of his game last night.
I don't have any negative things to say in regards to his fight. Randy came in strong, and focussed and hungry and he won his belt back.
So, I shall accept this loss graciously. :D
 
Poor Fyre, so sorry to see you sad with Vitor losing. I kind of mentally prepared myself for the loss ahead of time. I am glad about all the results especially Kyle getting ko'd , kinda sad for linland the poor guy has to wait forever to get a fight and then he loses. Other than that great fights and ko's
