Vial breaking

Have any of you ever had your vial break in the oven from the heat? It just seems to me that at 250 degrees for 45 minutes it would crack and break the vial.

nope. look up the specs on the internet and read for yourself.

glass can break when it undergoes a quick temperature change, like pouring cold water into a hot pyrex measuring cup (did it once, the thing just about exploded). This isnt the case with putting it into the oven.

Cool. I just figured it could break because any glass cooking pan that you see is thick as hell and I figured that was the case because if it wasn't thick it would break.

The only stupid questions are the ones not asked. I know most of the stuff I am asking but when you are injecting things you made yourself it is better to not just take a guess wouldn't you say? Alot of people read these posts and these questions and answers help them too. I'm not about to get an infection because I was afraid to ask something.

Calibrated the ole oven today, it was 270 with my oven set at 250 so I will just set it at 250 for 45 mintutes.

mark ya place on the knob to show where 250 is.

250 degrees isn't near as hot as I thought, it actually seems like it wouldn't be hot enough now.
