Virgin muscle, Fly's fall to the dark side!

Wow. I did exactly the same thing. Just woke up a week ago and it was out, walking like an old man
And I decided the same. Lower weights, more reps for a while.

I was having so much fun piling the weight on. Ive always been split down the middle for my training goals. I want bar bending strength but I also want girls to appreciate my shirtless physique. Maxed out on deads way too many times. I will not go below 3 reps now and maybe max one more time at end of cycle. Back is feeling a lot better. Squatted 315 lbs for reps tonight with no pain whatsoever. Still have slight discomfort when lower back is fully stretched one way or the other but it is fading fast. Returning to working out albeit with lighter loading seems to actually have progressed my recovery.

I've been thinking next week I might take a week off from my usual routine and do a lot of isolation stuff. Get a good pump going and do a lot of volume with lighter weight. Just to keep things fresh and see how the other side lives lol. I usually do a mix of heavy compounds and a handful of isolation movements.
