if your eating 3 meals a day its probablly not enough protein but if your eating 4-6 meals and supplementing protein drinks then it looks like a healthy breakfast to me .

i'd up the protein a bit but pretty much how I start the morning, (1st of 6-7).

I too, would up the protein to at least 30 grams....shake and half. And personally, I always have 2 servings of fibrous vegetables in the morning. Maybe substitute those for the bananas. That would be healthier, but it's still a pretty damn healthy breakfast. Tasty too. :)

what are craisins?

Not a bad breakfast, as long as your geting enough cals esp. protein distributed throughout the rest of the day.

Okay, Knowing that the original meal is much healthier then this. I just wanted to get the opinions of the floor as a comparison.

on a 6 meal diet eating snack and full meals and another shake throughout the rest of the day.

how much different would it be to eat say a protein bar the one I eat proto pure, good stuff 300 cals, 8 gram of fat, 32 gram of protein (whey), 1 gram sugar and 29 grams of carbs. I also eat 1 Half white begal with grape jelly and 2 cups of skim milk. ranges in the 550 cals or so..

How do you guys feel about this? its just hard for me to eat all that food in the mornings time and just to get to full.

Question: if 28 grams of carbs are not sugar grams does this mean they are considered complex carbs and burn slower?

The reason I ask that is I read that its good to spike your insulin right when you wake up to get your body out of a catabolic state? Would anyone disagree with this?

Thanks
D~
