water intake

ssmla, I agree with that statement, but i dont find myself getting to that stage whatsoever. Im finding that with the more water im taking right now, im holding very little water, not pissing every 10 min. (i take pee breaks every hour approx) and am not experiencing dehydration whatsoever even since im on the EC stack. I find that since im up every morning at 530 am, by the time im done the gym at 9 am (go to the gym at 7) im already through 2-3 gallons. Through the day, i drink about another 3-4 by the end of my day working, which is around 6-7, then cardio in the evening...thats another gallon in that hour. Then one last gallon or two by the time i go to bed, which is around 11pm

For athletes I heard .66 x bodyweight (pounds) = ounces to consume daily

Sorry I'm too lazy to convert it to metric for you right now.

1.452xKG...

Gymphreak...more power to you on that one. I don't know wether you just built up a tolerance or have a genetic ability but that is definitly a good trait to have. I guess we'll have to chalk this one up to everyone being diffrent. For me...10 canteens (quarts) of water was enough when I was running around in the heat all day :chimney: , but I think 12 would be healthier when I'm sweating alot. I wouldn't go over 14 though.

20 fluid ounces = 1 pint
2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon

I weigh 215...215x.66=141.9oz

141.9oz/20= 7.095 pints

7.095pints/2= 3.5475 quarts

3.5475/4= .886875 gallons

That doesn't sound right. Am I doing something wrong?

By reversing the equation to say I need 3 gallons a day it would be 2.232oz/lb.
