Those anti aging docs are a scam just like the pain management industry in florida..

They'll also prescribe generic gh for 18 bucks an iu...

They usually own the compounding pharmacy and just rip people off

If u got the money to do it then go ahead..

The Valium and trazodone scare me tho

I talked with her about gh, and she prescribes it but said it wouldn't be a good idea as my levels are pretty high already....

I feel like it's a $ making place as most of the stuff I have to purchase in house including the WP Thyroid medication.

She believes I'm suffering from Adrenal Fatigue and Hypothyroidism...

The valium is non negotiable as i'm tappering off this slowly... trazodone scares u? why? take 25mg at night

Why don't you ask for a prescription that you can fill at the pharmacy of your choice?

I suppose I could ask for a prescription for the WP thyroid medication, but she said that they purchase it from the pharmaceutical company and store it and provide it to those who need it..... You were speaking of the thyroid medication correct?

WP Thyroid is prescription.

1mg Adex twice a week? Yikes

I assume that OP ia natty. When the HPTA feedback loop is "open" AI's work a little differently. They don't crash your E2 because you compensate by cranking out more testosterone so there is more available to aromatize. It is kind of like running a SERM while natty.

And adex. Really anything one needs a prescription for.

Can you just buy the other stuff on Amazon or someplace?

WP is generic thyroid, but the other stuff (aside from adex) are basically vitamins. I'd be happy if the price wasn't outrageous, but it often is pretty insane.

My original posts are natty... the highest ive ever seen my levels... dont know if it is due to the medications like; valium, remeron, and trazodone....

hmmm.... so this dose wont crash it? I know it will def increase my levels and she told me it will too.. itll increase total t, free and unbind more shbg along with possibly increasing my igf-1 levels too....

the other stuff i cant find on amazon, it's the clinics special blend. they seem to have a company that makes the stuff for them and they push it out... but if it works, ill do it.....

i could request the wp thyroid medication be sent prescription, i just dont want to step on too many toes or cross the line and be out a doc....

i assume my insurance would cover if they prescribed as i have good insurance.

mega- what dosing schedule should i use for the adex? mon morning and thursday morning?

the wp thyroid is a prescription that needs to be obtained, from what i gather.... and the clinic purchases it from the pharm company and provides it, but increases the costs...

the initial visit was 300
follow ups are 150 every 2 months... the supps costs a good 100-200.... egh

I was really hoping that i would be prescribed gh or ghrp's and ghrh's but that wasn't the case... just dont have low igf scores to warrant that.. although she said CA's range is up to 432, i land at around 300 and the low range is 150.... 150-432, but fall in the 300's... shucks....

can anyone comment on the hydrocortisone pills? i'm uneasy about that... and dont quite know...

At some point I am sure it will "overpower" the feedback loop. There are studies out there on arimidex nonotherapy that you can look up on pubmed. I can't remember the dosages. I think they may have given elderly men .50mg daily or something like that.

Why does your doc want you on arimidex? You don't appear to be hypogonadal.

Lowering estradiol levels, by administering an aromatase inhibitor, is associated with an increase in levels of LH, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and testosterone [28,29]. Aromatase inhibitors, therefore, have been suggested as a tool to increase testosterone levels in men with low testosterone levels. Due to their mode of action the use of aromatase inhibitors is limited to men with at least some residual function of the hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal axis. Therefore aromatase inhibitors have been tested in older men suffering from so-called late-onset hypogonadism or partial androgen deficiency. Aging in men is associated with a gradual decline of total and free testosterone levels [33] as a result of combined testicular and hypothalamic dysfunction.

Aromatase inhibitors in men: effects and therapeutic options

And here is the study on elderly men. They experiemented with 1mg daily and 1mg twice a week. Both had good results in elderly men with hypogonadism.

These data demonstrate that aromatase inhibition increases serum bioavailable and total testosterone levels to the youthful normal range in older men with mild hypogonadism. Serum estradiol levels decrease modestly but remain within the normal male range.

The doc recommended the arimidex becuz my estrodial levels were high... previously 50ish now 70ish, but there aren't any ranges specified on the paperwork. i'm going to call the place i get my blood drawn from and ask what the range is since it wasnt on the paper to clarify before i take any meds.

its all about the money bro... look at all the random shit they thru at him... and i bet he came in there only complaining about LOW T.. but they pull adrenal fatigue and hypo thyroid...

$$$$..

i actually went in knowing i dont have low t, i was more concerned with growth hormone, adrenal fatigue and possible hypothyroidism...

i knew i didnt have low t cuz ive had bloods drawn before and they have always landed int he 400-600 range.

But you don't have hypothyroidism as far as I can tell.
