What a difference 6 months makes!

Here is the Thread I made when I found out my T was 144 last August. I didn't even realize how bad I felt, it happened slowly, and I'd forgotten what it was like to feel good! http://www.steroidology.com/forum/t...-but-little-bummed-advice-input-welcomed.html

Pretty much everything everyone told me was spot on. Thank you guys so much, you've literally helped save my life. The way I was living wasn't really living, it was misery.

Current TRT Protocol:
60mg Test Enthanate, E3D
300 IU HCG E3D (day before my T shot)
NO AI, Just Zinc and DIM

Here is the bloodwork I just got done last week. All of my symptoms are gone, and I'm so fucking happy now its kind of gross. I don't even recognize myself compared to the person I was then. The world is a brighter, more exciting place and I wake up every morning ready to grab life by the balls and live every moment to its fullest.

My endo was slightly uncomfortable with TT of 1000, and wanted me to scale it back to E3.5D. I told him I feel great all the time on E3D, on E3.5 those last 12 hours were noticeably shittier and I don't see any reason to scale back when all my other values are absolutely fine. He agreed, but its probably going to be an ongoing discussion. I guess I could probably wait a couple of days extra before getting blood work done next time just to give him a number around 700 to make him happy, but I really don't feel like fucking with the way I feel over a number he can't give me a scientific reason he needs to see. Its really an academic debate anyway because my insurance will pay for a new bottle every month anyway, and he doesn't keep track of how fast I'm filling my script, nor does he have the time to calculate if I'm going through it a tiny bit faster than I should be.

As long as he does not get all cranky and threaten to stop treating you, I say keep it up. If he starts to lean that way, just scale back a bit prior to the blood work like you said. He will eventually want only yearly blood work, so once a year doing it is not a big deal to keep up with the higher number the rest of the time.

Glad you are doing well. It is strange when you realize that what you considered normal was actually shitty. Great that you are doing well.

Keep your eye on your Estradiol, it is a bit high and could get higher.

As for the testosterone, the 1021 ng/dL is within the lab range of 348 to 1197 and not that high to really worry about.

I am a bit surprised you notice the difference between 60mg every 3 days and every 3,5 days. But every person is different.

You might want to hide that internal account number on your blood results.

Thanks for catching that. Fixed.

I have zero E2 sides, and that is the non-sensitive test, so it could be 10-20pts below 45, so I'm fine leaving it where it is. Definitely keeping an eye on it, but just taking the zinc and DIM for now.

That's pretty cool to hear. Congrats !

Im curious to know how has your mood ( depression/anxiety?) change since starting TRT?

Are you loosing any hair or receding ?

I've struggled with low grade depression (disthymia) my entire life. Since starting TRT and going back to counseling over the past six months it's been totally relieved. The world looks brighter, I am filled with joy and excitement. I have a confidence I've never known. No longer am I plagued with fear and self doubt and I'm totally secure with who I am and what my place in the world is.

Nope no hair loss I was already bald lol.

This thread is pure awesome. I love it when other guys get to finally experience what I have; a complete 180 on their outlook on life. I'm very happy for you! :D

nice i see your still on the HCG xD

should try 400IU though.

Either way glad your making progress, i know how good that feels :)

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your numbers look great. Awesome cholesterol numbers by the way!

How is your weight doing? Has it changed since getting on TRT? Change in weight distribution?

I will be the first to admit when I'm wrong and boy was I wrong about HCG! I can't live with out it. Test is the steak, HCG is the potato. Sure you can have steak by itself but it's not a meal with out the potato.

Thanks! I eat pretty clean and take 3g of fish oil a day. Training volume has doubled since TRT so I've had to eat a lot more to maintain. I've stayed the same weight since starting, 190, but seen some nice recomp. According my impedence scale I've lost about 8lbs of fat and added 8 of lbm, 2-3lbs of which is water. So I'm petty happy with those results.

Now that I'm pretty dialed in on T level I'm thinking about trying one of those fancy new SARMS for 6-8 weeks to further push push the recomp.

Why not just eat more delicious steak rather than filling up on bread before dinner?

Doctor still wants blood in months and I'm not ready to run a blast yet anyway. SARM won't have as big a result, but no chance it can evevate my E2 or Hemo either.

TRTnooby, this is definitely great news! I am very happy for you. Getting "dialed in" is a journey, but the guys on this forum make it a lot easier and quicker by learning from others.

@IMT staff, would changing from 300 mcg to 400 mcg really make that much of a difference? I have recently added hCG to my TRT and am still attempting to get "dialed in"

hard to say if it would make that much of a difference, its just we don't think anything under4-500IU does much.

On 300 iu E3D my balls feel like balls again and my loads go back to normal, but they aren't quite as big as they were before TRT. Now that I see that I'm able to handle hcg without any side effects im going to bump it up to 400 to see if that gets them all the way back to the same size.
