what are some cheap good bodybuilding foods for size

To each his own. I quit eating fast food (fake food) that has no nutritional value. Ever read the ingredients of top ramen? No thanks. Brown rice is probably just as cheap and its real food!

Hmm.

52g carbs
8g protein
14g fat
380 cals
(easy on the packets as 1860mg of sodium IS a fuck-ton)

Not bad for something that costs around 25c, and is intended for a quick source of calories. It's not a super food by any means, but add in some tuna or shrimp (look away 3J!), and you can easily bump that up another 30g of protein for about a dollar more.

I can't eat it every day, but I do keep a box of them in the cupboard if I'm not meeting my caloric needs for the day, and I can fit the macros in.

Not bad for a "fake" food imo. :)

Yeah costco natty PB.... Im addicted and its a battle to put the spoon down.

Damn Im paying 1.99 for chicken tits in NJ, even less for drum sticks... You guys are paying what I would pay for organic chicken!

Chicken Thighs are insanely cheap, rice is cheap as hell, certain healthy fruits this time of year are cheap as hell here too.....

same here!?!?! i just picked up 52lbs boneless skinless chicken breast and 44lbs of boneless pork tenderloin for 160 bucks. (thank God for my freezers)

i can get chicken thighs for 39 cents a lb in MASS

Tenderloins over breast any day on the chicken... The fat just makes it go down well and taste great and ofcourse adds to the calories. I don't mind a little on the dirty side.

Seen these a while back. Things like carbs and fats are cheap, peanut butter, etc bread, rice, pasta. Go for economy protein, things like mince or ground beef as it is termed in the US. Milk is another good one. Natural yoghurt. Whey powder mixed in with yoghurt. Buying in bulk quantities helps and things can be frozen in a lot of cases.

Go on youtube a search bulking on a budget or size for 70 or something like that.

Even Centopani
Frank McGrath
Antoine Vaillant

Each of them do a segment where they buy a weeks worth of food for like 50-70 bucks.

Ya good call, chicken thighs are dirt cheap, same with drums. And taste way better than boneless skinless lol.

Only thing with thighs is that there packed with fat, I guess there okay if keeping the carbs low and fat intake.high, myself I eat chicken 3 times a day at 8oz per meal so my fat intake would be up there if eating chicken drumsticks.and or chicken thighs, carbs are set for 200g per day right now, pro around 300g, fats 50g

Love tenderloins!!! Best cut going!!

Only thing with thighs is that there packed with fat, I guess there okay if keeping the carbs moderate and fat intake.higher the 50-60g a day, myself I eat chicken 3 times a day at 8oz per meal so my fat intake would be up there if eating chicken drumsticks.and or chicken thighs, carbs are set for 200g per day right now, pro around 300g, fats 50g

True, all depends on ones goals, I personally keep my fat high. And for a slim guy or a hard gainer I say eat the shit outta some fatty foods.

Yes totally agree Schredder, depends on your goals here
Myself I find when I am leaning out I keep my carb intake low, carbs basically set for breakfeast, pre/post workout when your body demands the carbs the most
U have to find out what works for yourself as each individuals metabolism is different :)
I.cannot do the brown rice lol, taste so dry and plain nomatter how I cook it, white rice, yams, brown bread, oats are pretty much my cheap carb sources, and plain bagels for post workout and depending on my goals bannah's or apples post workout as well, obviously drop my fruit intake when I cut as well
