What can I add as good calories?

Pasta is cheap too, add some beef of chicken to that, lots of meals right there. Be conscious of sales as well and also what store you are shopping at.
Depends, I get chicken at walmart, it is like 1.50$ per pound! and the rest is mainly at save-a-lot.

I mean i spend more that 100 a week but if you have to stay at that budget you can still eat enough just not luxury. Ground Beef is cheaper than chicken. Brown rice is cheap for carbs. Yams are cheap. Just have to prioritize what's more important having meals that are more appealing and not eat enough or sacrifice a little and slam some ground beef and eat enough? Its all up to you what means more man but there's always a way. Frank McGrath made a video about budget well shopping. He does it with 50$ and had a dollar something in change after. It can always be done if you want it bad enough. Best of luck bro.

I eat on a budget as well. What works best for me is buying meat in bulk when it's on sale. For example, when chicken is $5.99 lb. I pass, but when it's $1.88 lb on sale I buy as much as I can. Eggs and tuna are other cheap protein sources.

Good quality carbs can be found relatively cheap. Rice, potatoes, bread, pasta, cereals, etc. A super cheap fruit are bananas; 59c a pound at most.
