What do you mix your pre-workout shake w/?

I was thinking a little gatorade w/ my dextrose for my shake during my workout. I looked all over the site for info but couldn't find anything.

I never drink any dextrose pre workout, I always use it post workout. I try not to eat or drink any sugar pre w/o imo.
 
i typically eat a REAL meal before a work out...about 1 hr to 1hr 30 min before hand.
if i do use a shake i use a mix of whey and whole raw eggs along with some other good stuff like lecithin and coconut oil.

I do the same......I prefer a real meal before I work out and a shake post workout.

I think you should have something in your stomach before you workout for muscle gain. Solid food is best because of the extra nutrients compared to a shake.
