What does everyone take post workout?

What does everyone take post workout? I have always just taken creatine after my workout at the gym and 40grams of whey protein/with milk about 30 minutes later. Is this sufficient? Also my creatine has a lot of sugar and I know we are supposed to keep our insulin levels down. Is this ok to take post workout? What does everyone take?
 
Thanks for the input so far. Looks like you can't go wrong with a good protein shake and whole foods. I have been researching the insulin spike after a workout and there are mixed reviews. Some say its good, some say its bad. I guess if its working don't change it?
 
Wouldn't you want to take the creatine before the workout so it is in your system by the time you are done. I take BCAAs about 15 minutes before then a protien shake about 20 minutes after, then a meal.

I use creatine pre wo bulking and post if im cutting. Creatine is better absorbed pw and helps retain muscle. When im bulking I want the heavier lifts and not worried about trying to retain cause im eating so much.
 
Protein Shake, Multi-Vitamin, Fish Oil. One Hour later have a full meal as I also work out in the evenings after work.
 
2 cups quick oats 40 g protein 2 tablespoons peanut butter blended with 16 ounces of water and one banana.and usually a cup of white or a carb drink this is bulking
 
To avoid the insulin spike, grab a protein that's sugar free, it might taste like shit, but your body will love you for it.

I take 60g of Isos PW, used to take creatine, but its really hard on the kidneys.

Umm protein causes insulin spike as well...
 
Wait a second. Don't you want an insulin spike right after your workout??? Suck the glycogen back into the muscles, then a protein shake. a handful of gummi bears?????????
