What is everyone's testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Protocol and experience?

Now you know 50miles isn't far enough! That from the new house or old?
From where I work.

My house doesn't even matter, I'm rarely actually home.
It's just a place to sleep.

My radius for a good doctor started in my home town and spread out after they proved themselves incompetent.
I'm slowly working my way across the state, I'm 1/3 there.

Is that radius or linear distance? Are you moving in my direction or away from me?

In Texas you would have to drive 3-4 hours just to get from one big city to the next, it would take you two days to go from one end to the other. I live in Houston and I live 7 miles from my office but it takes me 45 minutes to get to work and that is when traffic is moving really well.

Age: 42
Weight: 208lbs
Height: 5'9"
Time on TRT: -1 day (1st injection tomorrow!)
TT at inception: 9.1 (Range 9.7 - 37.9)
Planning on blood donations every 3 months.
Now I live in the UK - and they are a bit behind the times over here...
My initial protocol prescribed by the urologist is 'Sustanon 250' - 1ml every 3 weeks (Yes, that's 83mg per week)...
Bloods to be drawn after 4 weeks (1 week after 2nd injection)
However I am planning on getting the bloods done right at the end of week 3 - directly before 2nd injection.
I'm rolling with this protocol for now, as I'm pretty sure at that dosage that Test levels will remain low and then hopefully he'll drop the pinning to every 2 weeks.
I haven't mentioned Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) at this stage as I want to concentrate on raising the level of Test initially.
Symptoms are loss of libido, ED, lethargy, loss of strength in the gym and lack of any get-up-and-go whatsoever...

Obviously, my road to feeling better again is only just starting - so I'm grateful to Spunkey for starting this thread for my research... I have to say, I'm slightly jealous of your US endo's experience with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (71Avido excluded!) - it's a bit of a taboo subject still here in the UK.

Good luck to all :)

Hah!
Good luck big guy :spin:

Good luck Bigben66,

If there is one thing that I have come to realize is that you must take your own health and care into your own hands. Yes I have a good doctor but I also have educated myself and read everything I can on this subject. I have learned over the years that sometimes doctors need to be nudged a little to get going in the right direction. The more knowledge I have the more my doctor and I can have in depth conversations on my course of treatment.

The only thing that bothers me about being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is if I get really sick, like cancer or something, I might mistake feeling bad for estrogen problems or something testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) related.

Started back in 09.
Pre Total : 200's
Pre Free: 5.1

Started at 100mg/e10d.
Total test between 490-1000 depending on day of testing. Never had the so called roller coaster ride.

6 Months ago I bumped my dose to 200mg/e7d. This took me to a new level. Felt too good. Nothing seemed to bother me. My woman even said I changed for the better.

Recent bloods: Total test: over 1400 (this was 7 days after my shot)
E2 - 50's
Crit - over 56
globin - over 19
rbc - over 6

I've dropped my dose to 180mg/wk. 3 weeks ago. Believe it or not I had withdrawal symptoms. I've crashed before so I know exactly how it feels. I guess I just got used to 200mg/wk. It took about 10 days to snap out of it.

Hello All,

I went in today and had blood taken for my 90 day full panel. It takes a couple days to get all the results in but they were able to tell me what my TT was. After 90 days my TT has gone from 64 to 510, the first month I was at 120 mgs a week and for the last two months I have been on 160 mgs a week. He did mention raising my dosage but wants to see what all my numbers look like before doing so.

I am pleased with the progess but would like my TT to be a bit higher, I feel good which is far better than I did before starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but I do not feel GREAT (still looking for that 18 year old I use to be).

I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know more.

That's great news, and good progress indeed!
