Sparked by Doc's thread.I know all the low GI carbs, but I don't know what numbers are actually considered in the low range. Anyone know?

NM, just checked it out:

What the Rankings Mean?
The GI ranks foods from a score of 0 to 110. Foods with an index of 55 or lower are considered low-GI foods; those with an index of 56 to 69 are medium; those scored 70 or higher are considered high-GI. While planning your diet according to the Glycemic Index, low-GI foods are favorable; medium-GI foods are acceptable; and high-GI foods are to be used sparingly

You should also look at the Glycemic Load index. it is better for common sence. i doesn't just take a gram from that source but it puts the values up for amounts of food. there are more carbs in 50grams of potatoe than there are in watermelon. low gl is below 10 medium is between 10-20 and 20 is considered high.
