I have benn dieting pretty hard since january I lost about 20 lbs and now i am stuck and I also can not loose any fat around the middle I lift 4 hard days a week and have been doing a ton of cardio I do 45 min in the morning and another 30-45 min after lifting in the evening my diet looks like this
630am 5 egg whites 1/4 cup egg beater (for flavor) 1/4 cup ff shredded cheese and 1 pack plain oatmeal containing 19 carbs a pack

930am 1 1/2 scoop protein powder 35 gm protein

12pm 5-6 oz chicken 1/4 cup rice 2 cups broccoli

3 pm 1.5 hours before lifting 1 can tuna 1 pack oatmeal

7 pm after training 2 scoops protein powder

730pm 5-6oz chicken 2 cups broccoli or green beans

10 pm 6 egg whites

I weighed almost 250 when I began and I have gotten down to 228 with clothes on in my opinion I should weigh about 215 with all the cardio an dieting I have been doing I have only cheated 3 times real bad since I started and that has only been with a few very high carb days I just cant figure it out if my thyroid is screwed up or what 5 yrs ago I weighed 250 and got down to below 200 then I started to train heavy and started Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and go up to 250 again but not sloppy 250 just cant seem to loose weight of fat anymore my friend who is a bodybuilder and has done a few shows cant even figure it out so I need some advice

thanks for the response I will try slowing down a bit for a week or so but Ill tell you that this is killing me Its like Im busting my ass harder than anyone with all the cardio and dieting and not seeing any results if this doesnt work then I think I should get some bloodwork done to see if my thyroid is ok if it is then Im going to quit everything all together im going to stop lifting and everything because it is obviouse that all the work will be doing nothing for me so why keep going on with it if I cant look at least somewhat of the way I want to

I don't have any advice, but I would like to say good work. You have approached this problem the right way. I hope it works out in the end. My own experience, which I have read about as well, is that you need to press your cardio routine a little harder to get through these types of sticking points. Like running just a little bit harder or whatever. There is probably some theory that the body adjusts to the usual cardio which is why the increase helps.
