When should I drink my post workout drink?

After I get done hitting the weights,I like to do a quick 15 min light cardio session.This has been working good for me lately during my fat loss program.When should I drink my post workout drink(dextrose/protein),immediately after I hit the weights,or wait until I am done with cardio?
 
Personally, I would move the cardio to a different time of the day. For post workout shake/meal, I usually start about 20 minutes before I'm done my routine. Just have the shake ready beforehand.

If you have to do the cardio that way, I would wait till after so you don't puke! :D

IF you are on a fat loss program definately DO NOT have your dextrose shake after weights. Right after weights, yor glygocen should be depleted and cardio will need the fat for energy because the glucose is depleted ....

Drink ur shake within 30 mins post weights and cardio refuel your stores:)
 
Finish up your weights then hit the cardio when your glycogen stores are low. Immediately following your cardio hit up your shake. You will spike your insuline and transport all of that glucose and aminos into your muscle cells.
 
How long do you lift weights for?

If it's anywhere over an hour, you may consider having your drink (or half) with no carbs. Having protein available eliminates the catabolic effect of cardio. Although 15 minutes isn't that long.
