When to rest?

I`m 4 weeks in on my 1st cycle and its going well. Eating alot and I`m getting stronger. I still get pretty sore since I`m lifting heavier but since I work a 4 day split I can move my rest days around accordingly. I know that to get bigger I need to eat big (and healthy) , lift big and sleep big. I know that in 8 weeks my pct will begin and I should continue to lift big (maybe with less volume) and eat big and get plenty of rest. But with 12 weeks on and another 4 weeks pct that adds up to 16 weeks of straight on serious working out w/out any time off for just recovery, then add on to this that I spent nearly a good 3 months prior to the start of my cycle lifting heavy and hard in preparation for my cycle.

My question is , should I take a recovery week say around week 6 of my 12 week cycle to just rest up? Or would it be better to take the 1st week of pct off from the gym and then come back and hit it hard?

Keep it going. Increase calories and macronutrients. Keep rep ranges for exercises in 10-12 rep range. It is crucial that you keep body in anabolic stages while it begins to return to natural form. A lot of people make mistakes coming off a cycle by losing focus and momentum. Its a transition and you must be cognizant of the fact that you now must rely on yourself more than ever to stay on track.
