I always go for more fiber-rich foods. Fiber-rich carb sources like non-starchy vegetables tend to contain more nutrients and helps me stay fuller for longer while on a calorie deficit.
Drink plenty of water. Avoid liquid carbs.
rons of hours each week with cardio.
In all honesty its too frank of a question. Once i know your current weight, training routine, cycle breakdown and cycle goals, if you are on a cycle then general goals then i can give you a better answer that will suit your setup better.
I eat so much i just make minor adjustments to my carbs to tweak my total daily Cals. Its simple though if you wanna cut: cal deficit. Bulk: increase cals. If you try the calorie calculator for your body weight it will give you a rough idea. Cutting for me is around 300-400 below daily totals
Man, thats some drop in calories. Over what time frame if I may ask? I couldnt do that unless I had quite awhile to prepare for a show. Good for you though. I wish I could still stand the diets. I fought 21 amateur boxing matches here in Canada and not a stranger to dieting or making weight. I need about a minimum of 12 weeks to drop weight for a fight, and several more weeks time for a show. Then again, I am not drastic with my dieting. I was a lot leaner and my metabolism was a lot faster when I was still young and fighting, not to forget all the cardio required for fighting. The making weight got tougher with age, and after 7 MMA style fights I decided I was done with the dieting. Ive never been a huge eater and even now at 51, Im still not a big eater. Not on purpose, just my body type and the ephedrine I use would not increase my appetite much either.haha I now compete in Highland Games Heavy Events and weight is a help with the strength end for sure. I'm still training regularly and at 6' 245 on low amount of test now. I throw in a compound(or two) some time before an event for some extra help.
