the reason for me asking is that it is a 100 dollars between the two the serostims being higher than the somaject...

My doctor said they are all basically the same. Only difference is the storage requirments.

Thus, seritostim is more likly to be ok, because it is stored in room temp until re-constituted. The other one has to be refrigerated all the time. (to the best of my knowledge)
