You will get various opinions, I like Protocol myself followed by a moderate carb/protein shake with either oats or waxy maize and now a blend of whey/casein/egg. Follow that up with a whole food meal.

ive been using dark matter for 2 years now,but its high as hell,but it has everything you need in it,and i eat a good meal after an hour,it makes my muscles fuller and i dont get as sore,i hate to give it up,i wanted to know others experiences with different products.,....thanks for posting
