Same, used to be very active in sub-wrestling also. But have taken about a year off from competition.

5 yrs now, 3 and 0 on fights that mattered and I won 3rd in the judo jr nationals a few yr back. I am focusing on Muai Thai and Jujitsu right now at a club called Lava. My original teachers are very well known in the world of martial arts. I was exposed to top ranking teachers and masters through them.

Thats cool dude. I have been training for about 6 or so years. Curretly 11-2 at the amateur level hoping to go semi pro within the next year or so.

I have too good of a job to get into MMA. I have no desire to learn MMA. I like my Gi BJJ
I work for a personal protection company also teach self defense and tactical firearm training so that shit is pretty much much my life.

What weight Class?
When I first got into MMA I thought I wanted to fight pro but after talking with my teacher and having a few fights I thought better of it. My Sensei is one of the most talented fighters I know and I asked him why he doesn't fight pro. His answer " In 2yr you (me) will know how to effectively hurt someone no matter what their level, the better you get the higher up in the ranks you go and the more talent you will come across. when 2 people that know how to hurt each other fight both of you will get hurt". So I still train and spar but I stopped fighting. I would love to teach someday but I stopped training at my Orig dojo about 1yr ago. that is the place I want to get my BB from. So when I go back I will shot for my BB.
