Why the heck does this happen?

I have no idea where to post this, so feel free to move it.

When I look in the mirror, the left side of my stomach looks a lot more slim than my right side. From the mid-point to the bottom, it seems as if the right side of my stomach is holding more fat. The bulge seems bigger. But, on my left side, it seems a lot more slim and the bulge is not really that big at all. It is really distracting me from my goals. Any idea on what this could be?

I want to drop 20 more pounds, but when I look at my left side, I know my abs will show if I do this. When I look at my right side, it seems I would have 20 more pounds to lose after that.
